Refund Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026 Version: 1.0 Applies to: Audio Catcher Pro subscriptions

In plain language

  • Ask within 14 days of any charge and you get a full refund. No reason required, no questions.
  • You can cancel yourself at any time from inside the extension. Cancelling stops the next charge; it is not the same as a refund.
  • There is a free plan that never expires, so you can evaluate the product properly before paying anything.
  • Refunds are paid back to the card you used, by Paddle, normally within 5–10 business days.

The 14-day window

If you are unhappy with Audio Catcher Pro for any reason, write to contato@sericell.com.br within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to explain why, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

This applies to the first charge and to every renewal charge alike. If an annual renewal caught you by surprise, that is exactly the kind of case this window exists for.

To make it quick, include the email address on the subscription. If you have the receipt Paddle sent you, forwarding it is the fastest route of all.

After 14 days

Beyond the window, refunds are handled case by case, and we are reasonable about it. In particular:

  • If something is broken on our side — a Pro feature you paid for is not working, and we cannot fix it for you — you get your money back, whenever you ask.
  • If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we refund the unused portion of your current period.
  • If you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after a cancellation was confirmed, we refund the duplicate in full regardless of timing.
  • If you simply forgot to cancel and have not used Pro during the period, tell us — we generally refund these too.

What we will not refund is a subscription terminated for a serious breach of our acceptable use terms — using the extension to infringe copyright, to breach a site's terms of service, or to circumvent technical protection measures.

Cancelling is not the same as refunding

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not return money already paid, and it does not end your access early — you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account then returns to the free plan.

To cancel: open the extension's settings, sign in, and use Manage subscription. It takes one click and needs no email to us. If you want both — cancellation and a refund of the last charge — cancel there and then write to us within the 14-day window.

How a refund is paid

Payments for Audio Catcher Pro are taken by Paddle, acting as merchant of record, and refunds are issued the same way. The money goes back to the card or payment method you originally used; we cannot send it anywhere else.

We action refund requests within two business days. Once issued, the funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank — that last stretch is out of our hands. Any tax collected at checkout is refunded along with the payment.

Access to Pro ends when the refund is issued, and the account returns to the free plan. Nothing you exported is affected: those files are on your own machine and we never had a copy.

Failed renewals

If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it over a period of several days. Pro stays active during the retries and you will be emailed if it ultimately fails. If it does, no charge has been taken, so there is nothing to refund — the account simply returns to the free plan and you can resubscribe whenever you like.

Chargebacks

Please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee, and automatically suspends the account while it is investigated — whereas an email usually resolves the same problem within two business days, and our default answer inside the window is yes.

If a chargeback is filed and upheld, the account is closed. We will still work with you afterwards if the charge was a genuine mistake.

Your statutory rights

This policy sits on top of, and does not replace, any right you have by law. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts; our policy above gives you at least that in every case. Consumers in Brazil retain their rights under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor, including the seven-day right of regret under Article 49. Nothing here limits those rights.

Contact

One email is all it takes. Include the address on the subscription and, ideally, the Paddle receipt.
